10.5.4 /sw directories for intel and ppc

The following are tarballs of my intel and ppc /sw directories from Sept 4, 2008. They assume you have updated to 10.5.4, Xcode 3.0 or above, and X11 2.3.0. One of these (as appropriate for your machine) might work to help you get started quickly. This is unofficial, and you are responsible for adhering to all licenses for software.

Download the appropriate tarball, then move the tarball from wherever you downloaded it to / and unpack with the command 

sudo tar xvfz  sw_10.5.4*.tgz

You will need to 

source /sw/bin/init.sh

or 

source /sw/bin/init.csh

depending on your shell.
